Deals, filings, numbers — never reviews. A ledger of the industry's transactions where every figure points at the sentence it came from, and a register of the private companies behind them. The wire itself is free to read; the ledger and the universe are the subscription.

Three states a reader can be in, and one rule that governs the move between them.
The full wire, the desk memo, company cards and the calendar. By invitation, at no charge.
The wire, the ledger and the universe, for fourteen days. A card is taken, nothing is charged. Cancel before the trial ends and you are not charged at all.
Every transaction with its terms and its sources; the register with its ownership; the search across both. Monthly or annual.
When a trial ends without a subscription, the wire stays open and the ledger and the universe close. There is no partial view of either: what a subscriber sees, a subscriber sees whole.
Five instruments, each one traced to its source. The wire, the desk memo and the calendar are free to read; the ledger and the universe are the subscription.
Search it by party, asset, title, territory or rights type. Follow a deal from the first report to the close. See which regulator still has it. Every figure shows the sentence it was taken from.

Open a deal and the ledger shows the price with its basis, the outlets that reported it, how the claim was read, and the sentence the figure was taken from. You never have to take a number on trust.

The EC, the CMA, the FTC, the DOJ and the Bundeskartellamt, read from their official registers rather than from the press: what is outstanding, what has cleared, and on which date.

One card per company: what it does, who owns it and what it owns, the registry facts and the filed accounts where the country has them, and every wire story and ledger row that names it.

Every story of the day, grouped by what it is actually about and linked to its publisher. The desk ranks the ten that matter most, and the storylines panel shows which stories are gathering pace across the week.

Every hour on weekdays and every four hours at weekends, the desk reads the day's stories and writes the throughline: the suit, the earnings and the deal that belong together. No filler.
Festivals, markets, investor conferences, trade shows and awards. A date is confirmed against the event's own site or a trade source before it carries the VERIFIED mark; the rest show their expected window and stay on watch until the engine confirms them.

Confirmed dates carry the mark. Estimated ones are dimmed and stay on watch; the engine rechecks them every week and promotes them the day a primary source confirms. Multi-day events stay on the diary until their last day, not their first.

Every event the database holds, tiered for its relevance to the business, with its type, its vertical and whether the press is admitted; one switch narrows the whole diary to verified dates only. Run an event yourself? Submit it, and it is checked against your own site before it appears.
Monthly and Annual start with the 14-day trial. Cancel before it ends and you are not charged.
Everything in Team, at the scale of a company rather than a desk: seats across departments and offices, priority corrections read the same day, one invoice and one renewal date.
